Indeed. Someone on here put something similar like General Grabbers on their ‘X’ some years back, and paid the mechanical price fairly quickly if memory serves. Could have been an E53 owner.
Of course the tread pattern roar on those should overcome the transmission whine….
I’m on the point of ordering a new set of rubber for the X6, and those aren’t on the list!

Not a particularly great image, but it looks to me like they at least had enough sense to fit the same size front & rear. The rears look stretched in comparison to the front.

I think some folks automatically assume four wheel drive also means off road capable. Those tyres may well be, the vehicle not so much, imo.

My nephew had to have a set like that for his disco when he first got it.( 50 year old kid).
First time out in a bit of mud i got the call to go and pull him out.
Only went in it once and don't remember them being noisy to be honest.
