You lot are clever.. Help me out with sourcing the correct AC compressor for my X5 4.4 M62 engine please.
The items I find have the same number MC447220, but the following 4 digits are different ie MC447220-3324 or MC447220-3325, what does that mean?
Also, I'm not sure if it's me but some of the images look slightly different too. Any ideas? Just want to be sure to get the correct one.

Production year?

RealOEM lists only one number for the period 2000-2012 against that engine. Current BMW Part number: 64526909628

It replaces part number: 64526921651 as that one is EOL (Ended).

You’ll also need a replacement dryer and a system flush. The different last-4 could be to do with the refrigerant. You’ll need to check which your car has. It’s likely to be R134a. The refrigerant also determines the oil code (PAG-46 or PAG100) with the code being on the compressor or under bonnet label. It’s likely to be PAG-46.

Nor did I but having had three cars all with different refrigerant I now know to check. It’s connected with greenhouse gas emissions control. There should be a label under the bonnet and very likely it will say R134a with PAG-46 as that is the one that the info I can find states.
