Greetings X Men (and women)
New member to this forum, recently purchased a 2013 X3 30D M-Sport with 58k miles in space grey, primarily for Mrs Boris. Only had it for 3 days but have to say I already love it, comfortable, classy and bloody quick too
If anyone else here is a member of the Z4 forum (I recognise Spectre) I am the same Big Bad Boris that has lurked on their for a few years. Please note I am not particularly big, definitely not bad.. and not called Boris! Looking forward to making some new contacts and friends in the X world.
Here are a couple of obligatory photos.

more participating members are needed here.
To many join, fire a question (or more) about an issue with their car and just bugger off. Not in the spirit of forum membership, imo.
Space Grey is a great colour BTW

Thanks for the welcome messages, much appreciated.
I agree with sapphireblack around the frustration of “members” joining up to drop one question and never being seen again. Must be double frustrating here, as the general traffic across the forum is pretty low compared to the Z4 forum.
Rest assured you won’t get rid of me that easily . Just hope I can learn enough about the X3 over time to help a few others out with questions and queries, although I’ll probably be asking more questions over the next few days as I discover knobs, buttons and the intricatcies of the iDrive system (my Z4 doesn’t have it, so it’s a new adventure for me…which I need to fathom and pass on to Mrs Boris.
We saw a few of these but came back to this one as we really did like the space grey (and it’s “FBMWSH”)

I've been trying to upload some images of my Space Grey example, but even accepting poor Internet here, Postimage shows my library as empty and won't load anything new either.

The images I posted were just uploaded off my phone/iPad. I know this sometimes creates issues with file size, but no issues with the 2 images I put up. Can you not post your space grey pics the same way?,

My main concern right now is where 000s of images have gone
AFAIK this platform always needed a host site? As an android user I struggle with some tech stuff that apple seems to make easier?

You no longer need an external site to host images. In the area at the bottom of the screen is an ‘Add files’ button. Use that to select the source file, upload it and then select ‘Place inline’ and it will upload it into your post. On iOS I just access my photos, but you can do it via a PC and I don’t see why Android should be any different. I don’t have a modern Android version so can’t test. If the images are on your phone/tablet then it should work.
Size limit is 8MB.
The old way stopped working after remote hosts stopped allowing linking - probably because most of their traffic was for linked site use.
