If yours is anything like mine then you need to trim the trim above the pedals and that gives access to a screw at the front of the side trim. Once that is removed then the console side trim pulls away at the front (two hidden clips) and then needs sliding forwards. Beware! The two forward clips are plastic and may break!

The wiring for the 12V socket is behind the drivers side trim.

The trim on the rear section of the centre console also slides forward but the driver’s seat will be in the way.

My 12V sockets are only live with the ignition on and engine running. No power without the engine - which has always struck me as a bit odd but our F46 (2-series) was the same. I’m sure the E53 ones were always powered.

Three fuses (all in the rear): F111, F113, F115. All 20A. Front and centre console are on F111, back seat ones are on F115, boot on F113. Worth checking for a cracked fuse. Heat stress from constant cycling causes fuses to crack and is hard to see. All sockets throughout the car should go live together even though fused separately. There is no common wiring for the live. Front is Red/Green (two separate lines), Back Seat is Green/Yellow, Boot is Green/Yellow (different circuit).

Do any of them work?

Your best bet is very likely to get diagnostics done. That could well identify what circuit/distribution system isn’t powered. USB power comes from fuse 110 (5A). Worth checking the rear power distribution box fuses as a lot seems to be connected to that.
