Hi all,
Apologies I’m sure this has probably been mentioned loads of times but being new to the forum I’m having trouble navigating. If someone could point me in the right direction that will be brilliant - if not …..
I have a BMW X5 E53 which the originally radio had “nav, and amplifier” I’m looking to fit “Pioneer DMH-A340DAB Car Stereo”
I’m not bothered about losing the cars nav etc. Can I buy the cheaper adapter kit for the new radio to work?
£70 fascia kit over £240 fascia kit seems more appealing.

Hello and
What adapter kits are you looking at? It might help others who have boldly gone before you to advise accordingly.

E53 radio upgrade
Only thing i had to buy was the long cable that run'd from the head unit to the rear of the car.
If you don't use it you will lose the BC button functions as well.
The radio is in the rear along with the speaker connections the nav and cd.
