BT cradle button?

after a few months of giving up on it, i thought i would try and connect the blue tooth to a nokia that i borrowed. ive followed precise instructions but just couldnt get the X into pairing mode?

i pressed the talk button in the armrest for 3secs, then turned ignition on and held button pressed for another 3-5 secs but nothing???? i took the cradle apart and checked all the connections which were fine !!

i drove down to my local indy bm parts specialists and for £30 he plugged the autologic onto it which didnt read any faults !!! but... he did manage to pair my iphone using his autologic ? and the trouble ive been having all this time with pairing is that my BT passkey was incorrect ??? autologic showed what the paskey is.. and its different to the passkey on the BT module in the boot ????

so my iphone is now paired and working perfectly with the X, but, im unable to get the car into pairing mode now ?? any ideas?

look at the code on the unit in the boot. Maybe its been changed. Mine had and works fine now I know the real number.

If under the panel in the floor on the left hand side - undo about 2 nuts.

yeah ive done that mate, the code on the module is what ive always been trying, but according to the autologic, it was incorrect, so its now all paired up to my iphone, but the trouble im having is that i cant get it into pairing mode again ? the pairing buttong in the armrest doesnt seem to work.. it was bypassed by the autologic !!... reckon it could be the cradle thats dead ???
