F15 M50d/40d buyers guide??

Hi everyone....
im wanting to dive back into x5 ownership with an F15 after a few years out. (E70 previously).
Currently in the research and homework stage for anything I need to look out for... Issues with certain years, parts, models etc as well as the options to look out for or avoid.

I really fancy an M50d or at least a 40d.

Im not adverse to one that's a few years old with higher mileage, within reason, as long as its been looked after in the right way with the right tyres and servicing.

So, does anyone have a link to any guides or advice that would make it easier for me to purchase?

Hi Nelson just wondering if you got your new X5
I've just changed a couple of months ago from the E70 40d to the F15 m50d
Both are fantastic cars but I'm really loving the 50d
Just done Durham to Cornwall and back and it was effortlessly I'll try and add a couple of photos of the car there
