Hi everyone, I've owned my E70 X5 for a couple of years & I love it! Only issue I have is that the internal sat navigation etc, keeps blacking out & going to the BMW graphics during hot ambient temperatures? I'm thinking of going for the ccc to cic upgrade if possible.. your thoughts please?

Hello and 
CIC upgrade is perfectly possible but not cheap. There are a couple of companies that will supply the necessary hardware needed.
Cartronics are well known and liked here. They may be able to sort the temperature issue with your current fit, and that will save you the effort whilst you think about whether a full upgrade is what you want.

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
