Tyre prices 🤤

Post by sapphireblack » Sun Oct 31, 2021 8:45 am

It seems like my search for a set of Vredestein all seasons is not going to be successful.

So i reassessed the Pirelli * winters i bought last year for a second rim swap. They're on nice rims but not my favourite. Thats a long story. A square tyre set on staggered rims has advantages and the Pirellis are BMW rated though on an E71 isnt specifically endorsed by BMW. They are though on the F15/16.

That wasn't or isnt the point of this thread though. When i bought this tyre set they were over £800 but i cant locate the invoice. Today however they are staggeringly expensive. Conclusion, use them !!

+1 on "use them".
That is a big jump in price.

They always take a jump in winter but I'm sure this year they are getting a severe price loading like most other things at the minute :o
