132.9/Litre for diesel here now cost is ramping up and for no reason I can see either , the joys of motoring at 28 mpg ( on a good day) lol The £99 limit at Tesco is no longer enough to fill the x5 again ...

Yes even the Supermarket fuel is above that in Sussex !!
The cynic in me says the Oil Companies are recouping profits now more people are travelling again and the Chancellor is turning a blind eye

Id say you are spoton , the local Tesco has a local price policy , basically there is no competition left so they charge what they like as it's 20 mile down the road to the next Tesco which often is up to 5p/litre cheaper as they are near an Asda It's just like the electric where they put the prices up just before the winter when everybody uses more .
Certainly none of the usual things they trot like there is a war on somewhere to justify it. The way its going will be 1.50 by September all good for the chancellor as he gets the vat increase for saying nothing.

Fuel demand is increasing and that’s driving prices, but it’s also true that fuel stations have had a lean time with no (or far fewer) customers and have fixed operating costs. Unsurprisingly they are now doing a number on us by recovering them. Time to not let the cars get so empty again I think!

I think the result will be more people looking at Electric cars if things continue and that won't help their business model much

Costco by me tonight was £1.285 per L for their premium diesel - Best value (and fuel) around..

Been 135.9 round here for a week or 2 now and it was 134.9 for weeks ans weeks.

Everything will go up in price. There will also be food shortages - quite probably from alledged 'cyber attacks'. Not to mention power cuts and Internet blocks. Watch out for the next year or so.
Cost of fuel for your vehicle is the least of your worries.

Filled up at Costco yesterday afternoon at £1.267/litre for their Super diesel.

I refuse to use supermarket fuel. I stick to Esso, mainly, or Shell. My local Esso is currently £1.329. Last week, on a flying visit to Newbury & Winchester, I paid (and saw none cheaper than) £1.409. Premium was over £1.50.

It's always supply & demand. Earlier this year (January/February time) I was paying £1.059 at the local Esso.

Thankfully my LPG hasn’t gone up yet

Certainly more than fuel going up, wood and steel prices rising rapidly limited supply and a sudden high demand plus fuel going up has a knock on effect on everything as it all needs transported

3 of the LPG garages have been shut down to put in charging points I now have to travel to get LPG Unleaded is 1.39.9 at the local garage Tesco is 10p cheaper.

There must be more money/profit to be made on charging points. Although I don’t know how at this early stage of pricing us out of our petrol/diesel cars
