Looking to fit headrest DVD players, any suggestions on model and price welcome. Would also like to get Bluetooth link for my x5 aswell, not keen on the sun visor clip on type, any idea's? Looking to make driving my x5 a little bit more comfortable to drive with kids in the back. Loving my first X5, but do think the sound system is not that great, again any suggestions would be welcome. 2005 3d Sport black/black. Had a post up in newbie section and would like to say a big thank you to all who replied, new to BMW and loving all the info and banter this site provides. Cheers. Reedler

One of my air con buttons has broken off, it's the one with the snow flake and Max written on it, is the main dealer the only option?

I have the Veba unit in mine, the screens are not the best but for £160 for the screens and the dvd player you can't complain.

What sound system do you have? Do you have the DSP option on the front screen menu?
The button I have found but only in America.

Thanks for the replies guys, seen various models on the web and all much and such the same price for the headrest units with zips to cover screen, seen some cheap ones on a site called ice2go.co.uk along with a replacement unit for the sat nav screen which had touch screen, bluetooth, radio and sat nav all in one with the reversing camera as an extra. My problem is that i have no idea how difficult these things are to fit, the headrest dvd's seem to be straight forward untill you get to the power source bit and I don't know if you can change out the main BMW computer screen with another unit without encountering many problems. Any advice would be good. Thanks for the offer of your old units Raj, I would rather buy new for the guarantee. Cheers Reedler

I just installed 9" HD Xtrons from Atlas on Ebay. Good quality picture for £200 the pair. You can link them, and run them separately. They come with remotes/games/wireless headphones too. And the are the zip up ones so not obvious when covered. 9" are fairly large headrests though - in hindsight I might have preferred the 7" versions. Keep the kids quiet tho so thats good enough for me!
Rattled a bit in the larger stalks which come with it but just added a little felt to stop the movement. Wired it to my amp on lead which was a switched 12v source. I think this cam from the stereo unit in the rear - I didn't wire this so someone else will be able to advise where this is.

after using these for the first time this weekend - I seem to be getting some interferance on the radio possible affected by the power leads - can these be suppressed?
