The tyre lost some pressure flagged up by the cheapo after market monitoring devices I fitted some years ago when these tyres were fitted. Couldn’t find any nails or objects in tyres, valve wasn’t leaking so I took the wheel off and bunged it in a container of water. Where you see the white paint round the number 0, the pin hole is at the top r/h corner. How could this have happened, there is no damage to rim or tyre. There is just over 4mm of thread left but will require 2 tyres. Gutted.

Could have been vandalised. It’s not unheard of for people to do this sort of stupid thing for kicks!

Probably mindless malakas (Google for translation)

Most likely to be a fault in the tyre itself. To deliberately push through something small enough to create a pinhole would be a bit odd - you'd expect a knife puncture or something bigger from a vandal.

I know what you mean Bladeerunner919, I had to look with a magnifying glass to see the pin hole, however if someone did do it the previous description of the person being a "Malakas" would be appropriate.

I'd have thought any pin hole type of damage in a sidewall was unlikely to be accidental :(
