Just wondering if anybody has used one on there BMW? I’ve got a BlueDriver that’s not really any good for fault codes,or if anyone can recommend a code reader/scanner that’s good with BMW’s?

I’ve been using Carly for a few years on all of our BMWs. Seems to be OK. It correctly diagnosed a glow plug issue on the X6 and a brake pressure sensor on the E46. It shows a litany of issues on the F46 - probably not cleared as part of the PDI as none are affecting the car today.

I think it can tell you car it has a new dpf fitted even though it hasn't as i believe bmw put some sort of timer in the software to limit dpf life and throw up warnings so id be tempted to buy it for that when need be .would pay for itself with one job. I had a code on my E70 sd I couldn't clear with a cheap code reader must check what it is again but i suspect it was the first dpf warning you get after about 135k going by what I've read. :driving:
