You need to go into the hidden menu. I think you go to set up and then hold the right hand round knob for 10 seconds. Once in the menu you scroll to perspective view and switch on. You then go back to the map screen and go to map positioning and perspective will be available.
All from memory and I am getting old. It's probably on here somewhere and certainly on X5 Outpost.

Do BMW have any problems with this Euro Disc i.e. can they confiscate it if it's a copy?

What disc you choose to use is not the Dealer's problem unless you're claiming a problem with the Satnav. The Dealer has no legal powers to remove the disc from your possession. They are only a franchise.

Just note that even though as the consumer you may chose what you have in your system, as the manufacturer or distributor of the legal software you are however perfectly entitled to collect evidence to prosecute (not dissimilar in the conviscation of counterfeit designer label goods from markets etc).
Collection of this evidence could include forum discussions about said software, hence that from a moderator / site administrator point of view we discourage the discussions of this for both our protection as well as the site members.
