Air con pump

hi all, my air con stopped working a few months ago and as we don't use the car much I wasn't to bothered but wanted it done before our first trip out with the caravan (thursday 23rd july) so got my mate to have a look and it needed a new pump and at £265(recon)inc vat plus fitting I was happy.
The pump took weeks to arrive and I rushed down on Wednesday afternoon and my mate took my pump out and realised the wrong one had been delivered :headbang: luckily it wasn't to hot in the car with 3 kids from Essex to Norfolk on the Thursday.
I've just spoken to my mate and the pump I've got in my car is apparently really rare because it has the vented seats and can't get a recon one until November as there are none in the country or have mine rebuilt for £365+vat, BMW want £1156 for a new one :o so if you've got vented seats beware :(

Where are you measuring that temp? Pre-mix, pump output? Nice and chilly :D

Glad it’s all sorted though

Useful to understand the test point for others with their own ac ‘opportunities’.
