Hi All

New to the X5 world and am contemplating an SE from a BMW dealer. Thing is, it has American Oak trim which I don't find too offensive but I am wondering what the general consensus regarding this trim finish? I guess what I'm wondering is, if I buy, will it sell on again at a later date.

I appreciate its not straight forward as trim levels come down to personal taste. Just wondered what others thought.

I don’t think you’ll have any trouble selling it on, and a future owner can always get it wrapped with something anyway.

And of course ...

My f15 40d sport has American oak trim and that was one of the reasons I bought it, as I rather like it, and as said one can always change or wrap it if not liked.

Tbh, the more I look at it, the more it grows on me. Deposit is paid so I guess I'll know when I see it in the flesh.
