Air suspension

Post by b21playa » Fri Jun 12, 2020 10:45 am

Hi all

Noticed nsr was sagging so I've ordered a new bag but when I start car I couldnt hear the compressor run.

Could this just be the fuse blown? Are there any repair kits for the compressor like there was for the E53?

Thanks in advance

Did you check the old bag was leaking before replacing and have you scanned the car?

I’ve ordered new airbag, haven’t changed it yet.

Managed to scan car and got it to raise up. Will see if it stays up, if not change airbag when it turns up

What faults were revealed from the scan?

It definitely should not be in Transport Mode. That’s only used when the car is being shipped from the factory to Dealers.

It’s weird as I never put it in that, and only 1 side sagged

Just occasionally these cars do this. It can be caused by a flat or dying battery. The computer gets itself in a tizzy and resets to transport mode. Does your tool allow you to make changes? If so then it’s just a function change to turn it off again.
