Hi everyone
My first post on here and it’s a cry for help.
I have a 2007 X3 and my bonnet is jammed shut.
The drivers side latch is ok but the passenger side is latched solid.
I have tried pulling on the cable behind the grills but nothing is budging.
I remember the last time I closed it having to slam it hard to get it to latch which I assumed was due to the rusted latches
I was just trying to open it to fix the latches and now I can’t get to them.
Any ideas as to how I can get this bonnet open please???

My suggestion would be if you are confident that the cable hasn’t snapped then get someone to push down in the area that is stuck as you pull the cable. It’s possible also that the cable has stretched, so disconnect it from the interior pull handle and then pull the cable with a pair of pliers
