Here you go Phill, I got this one:

BUT I would PM Jeegnesh as he did the buying and I'm sure they were £7.99

Ok ... so you go either for my overpriced version or the cheap one Sanj linked to :D

I paid £75 for my airline one though ... (taxfree at 30000 feet ... :headbang: )

Think I am going to be a cheap skate on this one, and go for Sanj's suggestion.

Thanks for the quick replies.

It works very well, no issues so far. The cigarette end even has the fuse in it.

Just can't find that cheaper link, sorry.

Phill, how are you looking to power up the PS2 Slim? Without an IR and a remote you won't be able to (if it has an IR receiver built into it). Keep Mark's switch in mind, simple solution if it's £25.

I got lucky with my IR as it was without power but I soldered some wire and got it working. Currently IR extenders are £25 to £50ish.

Sanj ripped you off:

Mark's offer is better unless you have a way to switch on remotely beats going into the boot.

I was thinking of mounting it on the arm rest in rear when in use, if it is in the boot, to change games would be a pain; and I have not got much room in the boot because of the nav and DVD player on one side and BMW woofers on the other.

that would work, the method Sanj describes means you never need to access your boot and no CD/DVD's because everything on a harddrive. But its a little complex process to be honest, you need dedication or time :-)
