Coding query - xenons

Is it possible to code xenons to auto on/off without activating the adaptive functions?
I'm going to be driving across the Alps in July and adaptive when driving on the right is a definite no-no, but it would be handy to have auto on/off for all the tunnels and avalanche galleries.
...........And, personally, I'm not a lover of the adaptive lights - especially the "cornering foglights". If I wanted foglights to come on when I'm turning a corner, I'd have bought a Citroen.
