Hello,

Can anyone help me with possible solutions why this may be happening ?

I have heard that it may be a faulty bonnet switch but I can't for the life of me find it ...........Where is the bonnet alarm switch ? - I have looked but I can't find it ???

I would be very grateful for any advice or experiences ?

I have a BMW X5 E70 - 2010

It’s part of the bonnet catch on the E70, rather than being mounted on the near side wing as it was on the E53. Right hand side I think. There was a thread about this about a month ago.

its in the drivers side bonnet hinge with a black plug connecter just unplug it job done .

Do I need to remove the hinge to disconnect it ?
