So, i looked away for a while and when i return it's all gone, including my post count. Oh well time to start again it would seem. I recognise some names but see a fair number are missing too?
Having done the newbie bit, which i don't really regard myself as, i can now bore you with stories and pictures. My E53 is aging now like me, but still in good shape, a '51 year with just 63K on it, still main dealer maintained and recently had in the past year or so, new rear suspension bushes (ouch!) more recently some new stoppers, pads all round and rear rotors, a gearbox sump gasket for a few £'s but labour and new fluids made it expensive. Add general maintenance along the way and it been a costly period. Time now for some replacement wheels and rubber too, new Diamaris all round, i got a great deal on those. As i had a second set of 4.6is wheels lurking in the garage, i had them refurbished to anthracite, actually the McLaren SLR wheels colour (fwiw) and i think they look
One long running problem persists, the RDC system keeps flagging a fault despite new sensors etc. I'm prepared to just disconnect it but my $tealer tells me that's not possible? If anyone knows better, please share the info.
Some pictures taken a couple of weekends ago when the 'new' wheels had just been bolted on. I confess i have my original 4.6 wheels for sale now, but someone may like them?

Like the number plate! FFS!
Are those genuine 4.6is wheels? They look a little small? Could just be the paint... Nice though.

535dboy, Too much of a clique ? ....I wasn't aware you were avoiding us.....Anyway quiet in the cheap seats please
On another, (good), forum we both use you get more board acknowedgment than I do - even if we both post similarly in the same thread....Short of me offering free beer I have accepted the situation, (in abscence of me knowing folk personally).
I wouldnt expect to visit my local members club & to be embraced by a group hug ach time I crossed the threshold....Heaven forbid
I'm not in a Clique &
wouldn't want to be in one...........I suppose that if I am then I am sole member of it
All this talk of licensed premises & keeping harmony in house makes me feel like Al Murray the pub landlord............(I guess there migh be certain appearance & interpersonal similarities

No I 'am conciously not bothering to post anymore because of certain west country folk and their cyber bullying.
Don't worry about it - I can live without it !
I thought it was shadowman/sapphireblack(am I right?) that first commented as the old site was going down hill
You can still buy me a pint though if you like

Ageing is bugger, i was convinced i was registed originally as
shadowman now i'm reminded i was
sapphireblack the first time around
Oh well my posts score has gone anyway.
I recall well a shift in the type of people and the nature of the posts made, one reason i faded away along with some others it seems, which is/was a pity.
Still a change in my life brings me back for another go, so i'll see what develops. Thanks for the welcomes
