I want to change the cars steering wheel which obviously means a battery disconnect.
Now I've done this several times in the past on other vehicles by pulling the negative terminal on the battery. As an E71 battery is a bit of hassle to access, will the under-bonnet terminal afford me the same safeguard of full power disconnect? I can't imagine it doesn't but I'm checking to be sure.

Re: Stupid question time?
I don't think it will disconnect everything.
Could be wrong but there are a few wires attached to the battery + connection block i think.
Somebody correct me

+1 on "don't think it will disconnect everything". It might be a faff-on, but disconnecting the battery -ve terminal is the only way to be certain.
