E53 Number plate lens and gasket

Does anyone know the part numbers of the number plate light lens and rubber gasket, and where to buy them from? All I can seem to find on the net is cheap LED replacement lamps fixed to a lens that look like they could catch fire at any point.

Try Realoem for the part number. It’s a copy of the official parts database on line. You need the last 7 of your VIN in the ‘Serial number’ box to oull up your model. Could be in Electrics, Lighting or Vehicle Trim sections.

They are still available from BMW.
I bought one last year and a spray tin of colour from BMW as they only come in primer.
I rubbed it down with 1500 and then the colour, followed by the clear lacquer.
Easy to change as a few screws and the electrical connection. That may need some cleaning if water has got into it.

Are you referring to the entire handle assembly? The lens itself is BMW #51137062293 but it doesn't have the gasket....

Sorry, yes I was referring to the whole handle assembly. It comes with new lenses and gaskets as well.
