Post by bonerp » Sat Apr 09, 2011 12:06 pm

Trying to find a 12v ignition feed and an earth in centre console for headrest screens. Can anyone point me to the correct wires to use?

thanks

x555's suggestion is a gooden but if you don't want to lift everything up then ther is the fuse box to the right compartment. described here with piccy:

viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1036&p=11174&hilit=ignition+positive#p11174

Test it first though, no point goin to all that effort and finding it doesn't work. Should work when you switch to position two, just before the car starts.

Earth is where x555 has advised, you can use the cigarette socket earth too, that's a thick gauge wire.
