Power Window Reset

Post by Wesley1874 » Sun Mar 24, 2019 3:58 pm

When I wind the passenger side, front door window up, it hits the top of its travel, the anti-trap function kicks in and it comes back down about 3 inches. The only way to close the window is to wind it up bit by bit. Does anybody know how to reset the anti trap function? Thanks

Never had to do it on the x5 but on my last two saabs you had to disconnect the power lead, the one on the plug that carries all the power to the door etc, then connect it back up and fully open and the shut the window to allow it to reset itself.
That might not help you at all, but just a thought.
