Navigation screen black horizontal lines

Has anyone ever had this problem. If so, how did you get it fixed.

Mine was playing up (just the once) a few months back. I rebooted the IDrive system and its been fine ever since.
If you Google reboot/reset BMW IDrive you'll find how to do it fairly easily. Hope it works for you.

Turns out the screen is fine. The CIC is potentially the problem. Does anyone know who can repair them?

I removed the CIC from the car as I couldnt find a way to reset the system. Everything I found on google didnt work. Put the CIC back in the car, still the same prolbem. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance.
