Door handle repair

The drivers door handle was slightly adrift when I purchased the car, so I just purchased a new cradle and thought that would sort it.
Nice sunny day today so off comes the door card, cradle looks ok, I think the front section of the actual handle has a piece missing where it hooks in to the cradle, the bit where you rotate it through 45 degrees to lock it in place.
I’ll attempt to get some pics up later to try and show what I mean.
Can someone confirm that there is a piece missing before I go handle hunting.

Hi
The door handle is just a twist fit in to the door carrier. there is nothing else holding it at that end.
When I changed my carrier last year I found the handle was pulling out of the carrier because the plastic had worn. I purchased a new handle from the dealer along with a spray can of the correct colour. I painted it and lacquered it and then fitted it.
It did cure the problem.

I think I'll give Cotswolds a call in the morning to see what the damage will be on a handle, and maybe a can of Estoril, or just take it down my local spray shop and get them to do it properly, lol.

The one on my car was like that when i first got it.
Somebody had just put a screw with a washer to keep it in and that worked ok (drilled pilot hole first).
I only found out when the carrier broke.
