E70 Which headlights to buy???

Hey there, new to the forum recently purchased 59 plate X5. The headlights have that cloudy look plus they are not xenons or HID, anyone got any advice on which ones to upgrade to and where to get them?

Have you tried a polishing kit that will clean up the lens?

They are significantly cheaper than buying new light units - which can be £hundreds each.

Have you considered removing and replacing the lense

i purchased a headlight polishing kit and must say it worked a treat.

The one i purchased which came recommended on several sights was by Mothers Aluminium Polish.

I used it on other cars in the family and the headlights never looked better.

if it works and its a cheap fix.

I'll give this a go on the old E53 I think. They do highlight the cars age at the moment, so shining these up will be great if I can do it for <£20!

I'll be moving the car on soon too, so I'm sure this will help. I wonder if it will bring up the Aluminum Side Skirts?
