Anyone else having to get the heat gun out to defrost the door handles so you can get in the car?
Having broken them before I don't fancy having to replace one again..
What are my options to stop them freezing internally? They are coated with grease / WD 40 but somehow they are still freezing up.

My Passenger one on the e70 this morn opened fine just wouldn't latch again and had to wait 10 mins with engine on till it thawed before i could move off
, bloody annoying and our focus does exactly the same on both front doors .
I put plenty of wd40 in so will see if its any better tomorrow .
I wonder if water is getting in past the glass seal ?

Towel and bin liner trapped in top of door and draped over handle......looks crap but effective and stops the door seal from freezing together too. Failing that a zip lock bag half filled with hot water held over handle works.....
