Advise on diagnostic software

Hi new to the group. Recently bought an E70 and encountered lots of issues. Park brake, dpf, throttle sensor etc. Sorted most these with a generic fault code reader and parts replacements. Can anyone recommend some proper software. I'm looking to do my own servicing and I believe that the fuel filter needs priming. Also got a actuator which may need coding. Any advise would be appreciated.
Thanks Chris

A number of us use Carly (mycarly [dot] com) which uses an adapter that connects to the OBD2 port and then runs on an iOS or Android device. It allows servicing and quite a range of coding options.

I've got Carly and it's ok but I'm in the process of setting up ISTA +D for diagnostics and I've also got ISTA +P for coding but I'll probably not bother with that one as it's a bit in-depth and I might mess things up with it lol!!
Plenty of downloads about but I paid a small fee to an Ebay seller with good feedback so I knew I'd get all the files I needed.

Thanks for the reply. Can anyone confirm if you pay an annual fee for the software or is it a one off purchase.
Thanks Chris

Carly Lite will only let you check if it will connect to the car it won’t read codes.
I purchased Carly a few years ago in its early stages so I get free updates but new purchases pay a yearly fee I think.
