Hi everyone,
First thanks to everyone who has posted in the past, lots of really useful information about the X5.
We have a 2005 E53 3.0D manual. Plan is to use it as work vehicle on private ground. Not the most obvious choice given the history of x5's, but the prices are so low now that it's worth a punt.
Useful to read that the 3.0D in the E53 doesn't have the swirl flaps that afflicted the e46 330/320.
And all the usseful info about converting from air springs to coil spring. Expecting that to just be a matter of time.
Kind regards
C

Re: Newbie with E53
Hello and
A rare beast is a manual E53. At least you have no worries about auto gearbox failure to contend with.

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
