I'm trying to decide who to map my X5 , E Maps are doing a mapping day very near me next week and would cost me £250 I would a good map has any one used them ?

I can not speak from experience (yet!) but I did a massive punt around the internet to see who was highly rated and one name came up a lot - http://www.bwchiptune.co.uk/

Spoke to Jason and he seems like a really nice guy - He also directed me to this site! So I found him first then this forum!

He will be doing my X5 when I get & has done many on here.

as above jason did mine 2 weeks ago and he and his team were great. look him up on here he provides a diy option. so you dont need to go to him directly.cant fault it

DIY in the sense, the tool is sent to you and you download/upload the files from Jason - thread explains it.

Have used both without problem, one a lot more expensive than the other

Emaps have very high respect on a bigger forum called bmwland

Well I went to Jason @ chiptune this morning and I have instantly noticed how much more responsive it is, the flat spot that was there is gone, and on pull off its much less hesitant, definately reccomended!

DMS do a great job it was one of mates who teached rob when rob worked for him


Simon at Emaps is a friend and dose a great job as well,I have helped him with files he needed before and get on well with him,he will even up load our tuned files for you if needed

I would recommend both companys for great work

How would you say your map differs from the emaps map ?

we make our remaps in house so we can customize the remap to your needs and how your car is set up

ie how you drive and what you want from the remap,mods on your car,and even worn engine parts that will require the map to be adjusted different(ie injectors)and so on

If you want to set up a remapping say up your way I will come up and map for you
