Hi all,

Well, I sold my 2007 Audi A4 Sline Special Edition as wanted something bigger to ferry the bride and baby around in and after looking at some awful Range Rover Vogues/Sports I started to look at X5’s.

Drove over 200 miles looking at different ones listed on Autotrader yesterday from Birmingham to Nottingham and more.
Seriously, the amount of poor condition X5’s I saw was quite shocking and I began to wonder if I actually would ever find one in my price range.

It’s sod’s law I eventually found (and bought) one 12 miles from home!

56 plate 3.0 Sport with just under 100k on it. Full service history, original manuals etc. Dealer is servicing it and sticking 12 month MOT on and I should pick it up in the next couple days.

£5500 which I thought was good money.

Had a massive nightmare with a 3 series Msport earlier this year which is why I went to the Audi and it actually put me off BMW as a brand a bit so I’m hoping this X5 will restore my faith a little.

Anyway, that’s my quick introduction!

See you in the forum!

Won’t be doing too much to this. Open to any suggestions from people who are experienced with these motors though...
