hi guys I havnt been on here for a few years after selling my e53, I'm now looking for an e70 to fit the family in and pull a caravan with. Would 3 kids fit comfortably in the back? a 9 year old (no booster seat) a 6 year old on a hi back booster seat and a 2 year old in a stage 2 seat?
I'm not bothered about a 7 seater as we need to fill the boot up with stuff when we pull the caravan.
I've got a budget of £8500 and hope to find an se with the dynamic pack and factory tow bar.

You should be able to fit all of them in the back of a 5 seater, as the middle seat base is the same size as the other two seats. On the 7 seaters however, the middle seat in the middle row isn't the same size, it is a bit smaller, but not that bad. It would probably be ok, but you need to take a look for yourself.

I'm not sure that budget may get a good example to be honest. I would try to stretch to £10k, that way you would get a decent example with a good spec. Lots of X5's came with dynamic pack, but make sure the towbar is there.

There's a few on autotrader that I like the look of but there miles away! >:( I would like to avoid the higher road tax aswell so maybe need to up my budget.

Where are they i myself and I presuming some other members would go and have a look for you and send photos if it’s close by pal.

That's really kind of you, thanks but hopefully I can use a Sunday and spend it looking at a few, I like a road trip I've got my eye on this at the mo, it's over my budget but ticks all the boxes except I'm not keen on black. I just found a great car on Auto Trader.

Alternatively with a 7 seater you can have two younger ones in the middle and lie the single seat flat and have the older one sit in the 3rd row, so you have one long area to load stuff
