Xenon dip light
Hi all! One of my headlight not working most of the time and when is working its flickering.. anyone know what is the problem.
Re: Xenon dip light
Mine did the same on my E93 which uses the same Xenon bulbs, had the bulb changed out and all was well.
I believe it's the igniter that's built into the bulb that's at fault.
Garage charged me £70 for a new Xenon bulb, they had to remove the wheel arch liner to access the rear of the headlight, not sure if this is necessary on the F25

Re: Xenon dip light
Will this be cover by warranty
Re: Xenon dip light
Got to be worth a try. It will depend upon whether BMW class it as a ‘wear & tear’ item - which IMHO it should not be if within the first 3 years as HID lamps should last a lot longer than that!
Definitely sounds like an igniter fault (electronics failure) rather than the bulb wearing out.

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
