Hi all,

Currently driving a e92 335i which we love but with the recent arrival of our first child the coupe is just not practical in the slightest.

On the hunt for a white x5! ( Mrs choice of colour)

Obviously the more spec the better, is there a list somewhere that I can check out the specs as I see so many x5’s and they vary so much in price.

We would like 360 cameras, parking aid, pro logic sound system, heated rear seats, power boot.

I see some x5’s with only memory seats and some with about 8 diffenent buttons is this comfort package or is it called something g else???

Could be the comfort package, or just comfort seats (which in my opinion are a must due to the range of adjustments).  When I order my X6 there was no ‘comfort package’ and the seats were an option.

Now all I seem to be doing is turning my nose up at anything that hasn’t got comfort seats.

Welcome to BMW hunting!  The way their cost model works is you buy a bare car and add the options you want.  My X6 had £14k of options added - and there were plenty left to add if I wanted!

It makes pricing one up, or finding what you want much trickier.  Not as easy as looking for a Ford Mondeo Ghia was back in the 90s    then all you had to worry about was which colour!

Even more tricker when buying a used car. I think so long as I’ve got the better sound system and hard drive, with power mirrors and boot, realistically I’d be happy, and now the other half has said she would consider grey ( or dark sliver) Aswell as white now.

Leave her a week or two and I’ll send you the details of my Ruby black!

£16k is our limit but would push maybe a little more for a very clean example
