Hi just signed up to the forum after buying this last week.

2004 4.8is in Sterling Grey with Cream Beige leather,Pano,Comms,Adaptive Xenons etc etc etc.

77000mls with the added bonus of an LPG conversion.

Just trying to source the panels at the mo,its trickier than i thought !!

Well finally got it finished bar getting the ridiculous air suspension sorted,literally having sleepless nights over it !!!

What a small world it is, looks like you got yours from the same place I got mine I found the prices better then Copart.

Coming from an ML55, even on petrol the 4.8 should be a breeze !!!

The mirrors ok from what i can tell,waiting for the car to be delivered tomorrow then the fun can really start.

Certainly looks like you will have yourself a great motor when you have found all the bits and got them fitted.

As I'm sure you already know, there is a fountain of knowledge on here for the tapping into should you need help or advise on the way.

A couple of things,it is likely that your battery will be flat as these cars sit for months before being sold, the battery is in the back under the spare wheel and under the dome shaped compresser cover.
Also have a good look underneath for damage as salvage yards use big forklift trucks to move the cars around
