Greetings folks. Rick is the name and a new to me X5 is my current game. Marti recommended the forum to me. I am a member at the 7 series register as well.
I'm not a total newb to BMWs as this is my third car and I have a good collection of the K series bikes.
I cant post a pic but it's a 2004 model, 4.4l, 218000km and in Sterling grey metallic with heaps of bells and whistles which I dare say will give me static at some time.
Now I just have to bide my time till it gets delivered from the "deep north" of Queensland.

It does look quite good inside and out. Has $1800 of brand new Michelin tyres and an almost new $1450 nav unit with heaps of thingys to play with. Picked it up for $3000 plus about $500 to get it from Townsville to Home (1500km).
From what I have gathered reading here and a few other places it has had quite a bit of work done on it (many new and clean components on and under it) and the owner got sick of fixing it when it was just about all fixed.
