If its just the chain guides it will be around £2-3k if like mine it's a complete rebuild about £5-6k

im getting a price for my 4.4 doing, ,
a while ago i got a price for a suspected bhg,  he quoted me a grand for the work, which included skimming, new cam chain and timing guides,  so im getting price for just the guides doing , ( oil leak coming from upper timing covers( might as well  get guides done whilst everything is taken off)
will let you know ,
only problem is im up here in sunny Leeds

Gary - Have the guides actually failed or are you doing it as a preventative measure?
