Never noticed before but my tank range won't go over 620.
Just filled up mid run and it showed 615 miles.
Drove off down duel and then onto motorway steady speed and it went to 620 after the first 5/6 miles then it has stayed at 620 for the last 95 miles.
Is 620 the max the readout can display.
Anybody else get this.
Car is a diesel 2002 e53.

The actual tank range as specified by BMW is 593miles....for an automatic.

620 miles roughly equates to 999 kilometers,
i think the trip computer can only store 3 digits hence 999km or 620m is the max that can be shown even though the computer knows the actual range is higher.

999K sounds like that could be it.
Just been to Llangefni about 34 miles round trip and it did drop in the town but by the time i got home it was back on 620.
It will drop like a stone next time i go out lol.
