Soft close boot issue.

Hi guys, had our X5 just under 5 years now, for a while the soft close mechanism has been playing up on the boot but it's getting worse now.
The boot goes on the latch but then after the soft close mechanism pulls it in it pushes it back out a few times and then usually leaves it in the out position so the boot rattles.
Just wondered if anyone else has had this issue?.
