				Hi.
After test driving a remapped BMW (which I missed out on!) I took the plunge and got a 2006 3.0D X5. I have not picked up the car yet but after some research Jason at Chiptune came up on many searches. A very helpful and brief discussion with Jason resulted in me joining the Forum!!
I am a seasoned Forum user and hope to learn much about the car over the coming years

Previously I have owned a few 5 Series but always aspired to the X5!!
Picking the car up next week

Andrew

Jas did say I have to be on here for a year before the discount!! Recommended as a great place for resources

Once I work out how to upload an image I will put one up.
Nice to have such a warm welcome
Andrew

				Hi there and welcome.
Having driven a re-mapped X as well as a standard 3.0 diesel, I can only recommend you do all you can to have Jason do his magic.
Somehow he manages to insert midrange power and efficiency.
Top man I reckon.

Thanks all. Superb info on the forum. Been reading loads although the 'problems' section is a little off putting
