Hiya,
I'm  just a few weeks into owning my 1st X6 and i love it,
It is a 14 plate X6 m50d and what a beast it is.
I went for the older shape as i personally preferred the look of it.
I'm  currently getting 24 mpg which is far lower than all the figures I've read about on the reviews and internet.
What kind of mpg are you guys getting ?

Not many X6 M50d on here, and I agree that the older shape looks better.

I’m not surprised by 24mpg.  My 40d gets about 26-28mpg in town and up to 35mpg on the motorway and driven gently (75mph or below).  Test data is about 30% higher than real world data - hence all new testing regimes being mandated from this year.

You can get them remapped which may improve the fuel consumption.  Send a PM to jason@bwchiptune (our forum specialist) to see what options you have.
