Been offered a  well spec’d 2017 m50d for £48,000. Same one I’ve posted in the for sale section. In need of a car myself fairly quick and considering this.. can someone give me an idea of what they think depreciation will be like in the next 6 months or so?

I know garages can sell these cars fairly quick due to finance options and extra warranty but what about selling privately in the near future. He’s had it for sale for around a week and had a fair few silly offers so decided to sell it to a garage for quickness but gave me first refusal..

Having had unfortunate experience with short term ownership in economic terms, I would not entertain the idea of trying to sell an M50d 6 months down the line. At 48k it is a steal but you will still be hammered. Buy and keep at least a year or two before it makes sense.
