Guide and cost to replace Final Stage Unit / Resistor on the heater blower

My heating controls to me doesn’t seem to be perfect, although the regulation inside seems good enough
Ie usually leave it around 21-22, but notch it to 25 it doesn’t get as warm as i would think. Put it up to 28 there is hot air, so works okay.
Also I get a pulsating pump noise and hoping changing this might rectify?
Anyone else changed this?

Don't worry, you're not on your own. I'd reckon 90% of E70's don't have heating or AC working properly. It's a complete disaster of a system with no less than 13 actuating valves on the blower. These pieces of shite are made in Mexico and suffer from destruction and corrosion due to condensation. Problem is you can only get at one of them without removing the whole dash. Most E70 drivers I know just live with it .

Hello,
Have you gone into the climate control section of I drive and checked the temperature the system is heating the incoming air - small horizontal bars next to the figures on mine (2007 E70). It ranges from three bars of cold to 3 bars of hot for each side. I find setting it on either cold or warm days like we've just had makes a huge difference to the incoming air flow!
