Hi all, currently happy with E53 3.0d sport but looked at E70 35d yesterday and need some help/info/knowledge about something that I was a little surprised at. While out on test drive I was surprised by the amount of “engine noise “ in the cabin while driving as this is something we don’t experience in the E53, is this normal? E70 has 105k with service history and seems to be well looked after. Any help would be appreciated before I take the plunge!

Cant comment on the noise but I would try 2 or 3 at different garages to compare

Yeah, that seems to be the way we are thinking of going now. Fingers crossed that we find one soon.
