what do I have

Post by Smeeagain » Wed Apr 25, 2018 7:39 pm

Ok so my X5 is an e53, but Ive just a bought a 2006 3 series 330 tourer (i.e. estate) so what "E" number is that? Anyone recommend any forums similar to this one for that type of vehicle?

Thanks

3 series estates on a 2006. That is right on the cusp, between E46 And E91, as stated by X5Sport
Post up an external and interior photo and we can confirm, or put your last 7 digits of your Vin into real oem

I'll get the detail and post back. Would either of those diesel engines take the same oil as my E53?

Yes.  BMW LL04 ACEA C3, synthetic 5W30.  All of our 3-litre BMW diesels have used the same oil from 2005 to now.  I wouldn’t be surprised if my new Gran Tourer probably will too  :)
