Looks good.  I have still to find a system that stops the plastic going grey and makes it easier to clean.  Various folks have tried various tricks.  Painting them is certainly a new one though.  :)

Yes they came out great , but it was all about the prep  after years of gels /  silicone / polish and dear knows what  the surface had to be really clean  the painting was the easy part

What did you use as the cleaning agent in this case?

Colin,

Nice car and nice paint job.

As you state the art is getting it clean and free from previous treatments especially silicone.

Assume you used a plastic adhesive promoter as well to aid the bond of the paint ?

Im thinking of doing the same later this summer, did you go gloss or satin, looks too shiny for a satin or matt in the photos.

Looks cracking.

Hello Stranger!

I've seen YouTube videos of a hot air gun being used. Brings them back to life! Mine is looking pretty poor now, 14 years will do that to car, I'm sure...

Hope all is well!?!

Nice job looks so much better, did you remove all the plastic or mask up and spray it on the car?
