Hi all
my 2006 BMW X5 has a very squeaky blower motor, driving me nuts now. the blower works fine and the aircon is nice and cold ....just this damn squeak!!
Looking at the web, looks like its the dash out to replace the blower motor but wondered if anyone had tried lubricating the motor to see if that stops it?
Any way of getting to the motor without taking it out?
Wondered about a long tube from under the bonnet via the pollen filter housing to spray some lube or via the FSR port under the dash.?
My thought was some sort of spray/silicone lubricant to see if that stopped the squeak
Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated
Thanks

Squeaky Blower Motor
Re: Squeaky Blower Motor
Not sure on the E53, but on my E93 took the pollen inter out and I could see the fan blade down the ducting, sprayed with silicone spray and fan was silent there after.
